Ranking up
IMPORTANT!
Why is it not recommended to hold Genin rank?
You are slowing down your progress.
Chuunin regen is 3x bigger which means 3x faster training.
Holding and capping Genin wont save you from dying at all, you just let others surpass you and you lose time.
Rank up to your desired rank ASAP. Hold it once you reach it. Train.
If you have trouble deciding what rank you want to be, go Chuunin for a start because you can alway rank up.
Ranking to your desired rank is currently the best possible option for game progress.

You pass the Genin exam! What now?
The first thing to do after you rank to Genin is to roll for a Bloodline.
What is a Bloodline/BL? It is a feature that allows the wielder to use unique battle techniques, bonuses, added regeneration and various passive effects. Each BL has its own unique jutsu and they each offer character bonuses. A BL also determines your element.
So after you have made Genin its time to check if you have a BL. Each player gets 1 free roll after they make Genin.
To roll click on Village in the Main Menu, then Village Hall and enter the Bloodline Clinic. Click on "Test Now" and roll...
If you rolled a BL, congrats!
If not, dont worry. There are other ways to get one. You might even decide you don't need one.
If you have rolled a BL it would be wise to pick your offense according to your BL.

Training as Genin:
In this current core there is no sensei bonus. You can still become a student, but there will be no in game bonuses for this action.
1. Rushing to Chuunin:
-Pick one offense and train its primary Jutsu General (Affects Jutsu damage by 70%, jutsu specific, Chuunin and EJ primary generals are the same).
Primary Jutsu Generals:
- Taijutsu: Jou - Intelligence, Chu/EJ - Willpower.
- Ninjutsu: Jou - Speed; Chu/EJ - Strength.
- Genjutsu: Jou - Strength; Chu/EJ - Speed.
- Bukijutsu: Jou - Willpower; Chu/EJ - Intelligence.
To simplify heres an example:
If you want to be a Genjutsu user and stay a chuunin, train Genjutsu Offense and Speed General. For a Taijutsu Jounin train Tai Off and Intel Gen.
2. Tank:
- Train one offense and all 4 defenses equal, and do 4 missions daily. If you are doing 4 missions every day you should easily hit your general's goals.
This way of training is not as efficiant as the first method.
- How not to waste Pools while training?
-The smartest way to get the best use out of your pools is to have them both full. Set the training bar to two third's of a pool. (Example stamina.)
Then use up the other pool all the way. (Example chakra.)
-You can try to train only 66% of a pool. Then finish off the other pool. Both should be used equaly and nothing will be wasted.
