AC - Armor Craftsman.
AI Grinding - Repeated killing of AI with jutsu to build up jutsu levels. See Jutsu Farming.
Alt - Alternate account, typically the secondary and tertiary accounts of a player. The primary account being their Main.
AoE - Area of Effect.
AS - Academy Student, the first rank all new shinobi start at.
Avy - Short for Avatar, the picture on a player’s profile.
Battle holding - Waiting to the very last second of each round to submit a jutsu or even not submit any jutsu at all. Considered a waste of time in most cases and is thus frowned upon.
BH - Bounty Hunter, one of the special occupations. Bounty hunters are able to track the locations of players with negative diplomacy in their village.
BL - Bloodline.
BM - Black Market, a place where you can buy items or account changes with Reputation or Popularity points.
Block - Preventing a player from joining a Call for Help. See CFH.
Buki - Bukijutsu.
Call - Verb form of CFH.
CFH - Call for Help, when a weaker player is attacked by a strong enough player, they will be able to CFH which allows another player to join the battle and make it a 2v1 fight.
Chu - Chuunin.
CP - Chakra Power.
Crit - Critical Strike.
Def - Defense.
DSR - Damage by Survivability Rating, an indicator of how powerful a player is judging by their stats and jutsu levels.
EJ - Elite Jounin.
EM - Elemental Mastery.
Endgame - The state of having all stats fully capped.
Fed - Federal Support.
Forb - Forbidden Jutsu.
Gen - Genjutsu.
GM - Grand Market, a place where you can buy and sell raw materials from fellow villagers.
HC - Hard Cap, achieving the maximum level of 200 with a jutsu.
Hossy/Hospi - Hospital.
Jou - Jounin.
Jutsu Farming - The process of gathering jutsu experience for jutsu levels. See AI Grinding for one method of jutsu farming.
Kono - Konoki.
Main - Main account, typically the account a player invests the most time in.
Nin - Ninjutsu.
Nindo - A dedicated writing space that can be used to personalize your account.
Off - Offense.
OP - Overpowered, when something in the game is considered too strong.
Pop - Popularity Points, can be used to buy a random item that can only be purchased in the black market.
PvP - Player vs Player.
Raiding - Traveling to other villages and attacking players. This is the main source of PvP in the game.
Regen - Regeneration.
Rep - Reputation Points, the premium currency of TNR that can be spent in the black market.
RP - Roleplay
Snipe - When someone attacks another player with low health before they can heal up. Most used especially after a hard fought battle.
Spar - A no risk, no reward fight. Pools, health, item durability, and items all return to normal after a spar. Wins and losses are not counted on your battle record.
Stat Cap - The maximum amount that a stat can be trained to. A player is said to be ‘capped’ when all their stats are maxed out.
Syndi - Syndicate.
Tag - The battle effects that a jutsu has when it is used in combat.
Tai - taijutsu.
Tavy - Tavern.

TO - Turn Order.
SC - Soft Cap, the highest level that you can manually train a jutsu before needing jutsu experience to train it further. For most jutsu the soft cap is level 100. Forbidden jutsu soft cap is level 150.
Transport/Delivery - Someone that moves items between villages. Transport/Delivery services can be useful to prevent having to receive the penalty for moving villages.
Uber - An endgame player, typically with all hard capped jutsu.
UC - The Uncharted. The area in the continent of Seichi where knowledge of a map does not reach.
Wep - Weapon offense aka Bukijutsu.
WS - Weapon Smith.
